Description
We are looking for a motivated individual with solid experience leading a maintenance department in
support of a modern, automated, 24X7 food processing facility. The successful candidate will have the
drive to develop a world class maintenance department through efficient employee and mechanical
practices to ensure continued success within a team-based, continuous improvement workplace
culture.
Major Responsibilities
Provide leadership for a team of 4
In cooperation with Plant Manager provide plant leadership
Work cooperatively with Plant Manager and operational personnel to ensure success of plant
Perform root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective actions
Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced electrical, computer and PLC systems
Troubleshoot electrical equipment using test equipment and circuit diagrams
Responsible for adjusting machinery and equipment, start-up and testing, renovating and restoring
Responsible for performing electrical maintenance on all plant equipment to include 480V/240V/120V
power systems and making necessary electrical repairs as needed
Responsible for completing repairs in a timely matter; goal is to maintain the highest level of
operational readiness
Responsible for ensuring that all equipment changes, modifications and repairs are conducted and
are in safe operating condition
Prepare written maintenance instructions, records, and procedures
Maintain accurate and timely records
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment
Ensure PM schedules are updated for changes in circumstances
Skills/Characteristics Desired
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
In depth understanding of electrical, mechanical, low voltage and hydraulic principles and systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, mechanical blueprints, electrical
schematics and operating manuals
Experience in the use of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machine shop equipment
Ability to react positively to rapidly changing priorities
Capable of independently managing multiple tasks and people
Demonstrated initiative and an eagerness to drive continuous improvement
Education & Experience
Minimum 10 years maintenance experience, preferably in a food processing environment
Must be self-motivated
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or mechanical curriculum preferred
Solid knowledge of food safety, GMPs and related regulatory requirements preferred
Solid knowledge of basic math to include working with fractions and decimals, solving simple
algebraic equations and English to metric/metric to English conversion of numbers
Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
Flexibility to work any shift as needed
Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

Oregonʼs Proposed 2017 Annual Action Plan
The report addresses the use of HOME, HTF, CDBG, ESG, and HOPWA funds for the program

TIMBER SALE
SEALED BID on the UMATILLA INDIAN RESERVATION
The Weigh Station Fire Salvage Sale consists of various cutting blocks totaling approximately 95
acres. All cutting blocks are within the Weigh Station Wildfire that occurred between July 30 and
August 4, 2016. The planned salvage harvest areas are generally located in Sections 1 & 2 of
T1N, R34E and Section 6 of T1N, R35E, Willamette Meridian in Umatilla County, Oregon; within
the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and in the locality south and west of
Deadmanʼs Pass Rest Area on I-84.
Total estimated timber volumes are 963 thousand board feet; with an estimated 505 thousand
board feet of Douglas-fir sawlogs, 323 thousand board feet of ponderosa pine sawlogs and 135
thousand board feet of grand fir sawlogs; other conifer species are present, but contribute very
little to overall volumes. Minimum bid prices for sawtimber are as follows: all Douglas-fir / western
larch logs $120.00 per thousand board feet net scale, grand fir / lodgepole pine / Engelmann
spruce $88.50 per thousand board feet net scale. Likewise, minimum bid rates on ponderosa pine
should be $54.50 per thousand board feet for 6”-11”(Dib) logs, $120.50 per thousand board feet
for 12”-17”(Dib) logs, $144.50 per thousand board feet for 18”-23”(Dib) logs and $156.00 per
thousand board feet for 24” & larger (Dib) logs; all of which would apply to net scale. Scalable
pulp-quality and other sub-sawtimber materials should be bid at a minimum rate of $5.00 per
thousand board feet net scale or $0.67 per green ton, as applicable. The stated volumes are
estimates and are not guaranteed. We expect harvest work setup and operations to commence
by October 18, 2016.
Sealed bids on forms provided therefor marked outside, BID FOR WEIGH STATION SALVAGE
SALE, and addressed to the Superintendent, Umatilla Agency, P.O. Box 520, Pendleton, OR
97801-0520, will be received until 13:30 local Time at place of bid opening, OCTOBER 11TH,
2016, for the purchase of merchantable timber designated for removal on Tribal lands within the
Umatilla Indian Reservation described as the “WIEGH STATION SALVAGE LOGGING UNITS.”
Opening of sealed bids will take place at the BIA Umatilla Agency located at 46807 B Street,
