the Summer Games during the Tiny Tot Olympics.
Presented by Pendleton Parks & Recreation, the event
includes age-appropriate events. Participants will have
scorecards to get stamped after mastering the trampoline,
conquering the bouncy house, navigating the tunnel and
other activities.
The games begin Monday, Aug. 22 from 10-11:30 a.m. at
the Pendleton Recreation Center, 510 S.W. Dorion Ave. The
cost is $5 per person. Kids who are under 12 months are free.
The activity includes a medal ceremony at the end.

sparking a wildire that
exploded over the weekend,
destroying more than 175
homes, business and other
structures in a Northern
California town, authorities
said.
Lake County Sheriff Brian
Martin said Damin Anthony
Pashilk, 40, of Clearlake
was arrested Monday on 17
counts of arson and is in jail.
He is suspected in numerous
ires in Lake County over the
past year.
California Department of
Forestry and Fire Protection
Director Ken Pimlott said the
blaze in the town of Lower
Lake has caused over $10
million in damages and left
dozens of families homeless.
