Associate/Project Engineer position at the City of Pendleton in the
Community Development Department. Position requires a thorough
knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering including
modern methods for design, surveying, and construction of public
works and urban development type projects. Must be skilled in
performing engineering computations, estimates, construction plan
review, designs and project management of various aspects of civil
engineering projects, and shall have experience using the use of
AutoCAD 2017 or newer, Word, and Excel. Experience is also
desirable with Civil 3D 2017, ArcView, ArcGIS, or similar software.
Requires Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related
science field and possession of an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) or
Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) registration, and a minimum of four
(4) years of experience in engineering, surveying, and design,
preferably with urban development or municipal-type projects; or
satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as
determined by the City. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE)
or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is not required but may be
considered for career placement and advancement. Must possess
valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background
check. Salary range is $4,928 - $6,582 per month plus excellent
benefits.

is for a new large federally defined CAFO dairy operation, Lost
Valley Ranch, owned and operated by Greg te Velde; mailing
