NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center
Authority, Umatilla County, State of Oregon, to discuss the
budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017, will be
held at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center at 1705 E.
Airport Rd, Hermiston, Oregon. The meeting will take place on
June 10, 2016 at or after 7:00 am. The purpose of the meeting is
to receive the budget message and receive comment from the
public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation
of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear
at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the
Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be
inspected or obtained on or after May 31, 2016 at City Hall
located at 180 N.E. 2nd St, Hermiston, Oregon between the
hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. This meeting notice is also being

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE CITY of Pendleton is eligible to apply for a 2016 Community
Development Block Grant from the Oregon Business Development
Department. Community Development Block Grant funds come
from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The grants can be used for public facilities and housing
improvements, primarily for persons with low and moderate
incomes.
Approximately $12 million will be awarded to Oregon non-
metropolitan cities and counties in 2016. The maximum grant that
a city or county can receive is $2,500,000.
The City of Pendleton is preparing an application for a 2016
Community Development Block Grant from the Oregon Business
Development Department for a housing rehabilitation grant in
Pendleton for housing rehabilitation projects. It is estimated that the
proposed project will benefit at least 50 persons, of whom 100 %
will be low or moderate income.
A public hearing will be held by the City Council at 7pm on June 7,
2016 at Pendleton City Hall, Council Chambers, 500 SW Dorion
Ave, Pendleton, OR. The purpose of this hearing is for City Council
to obtain citizen views and to respond to questions and comments
about: Community development and housing needs, especially the
needs of low and moderate income persons, as well as other
needs in the community that might be assisted with a Community
Development Block Grant project; and the proposed project.
Written comments are also welcome and must be received by June
6, 2016 at 500 SW Dorion Ave., Pendleton, OR 97801. Both oral
and written comments will be considered by the City Council in
deciding whether to apply.
The location of the hearing is accessible to persons with
disabilities. Please let Robb Corbett at (541)-966-0201 know if you
will need any special accommodations to attend or participate in
the meeting.

of Community Development Block Grant funds is available for
public review at Greater Eastern Oregon Development

Permanent involuntary displacement of persons or businesses is
not anticipated as a result from the proposed project.
If
displacement becomes necessary, alternatives will be examined to
minimize the displacement and provide required/reasonable
benefits to those displaced. Any low and moderate income
housing which is demolished or converted to another use will be
replaced.

La Ciudad de Pendleton es elegible para aplicar a un Subsidio en
2016 del Community Development Block Grant que a su vez viene
del Oregon Business Development Department. Los Subsidios del
Community Development Block Grant (Bloque Subsidiario para el
Desarrollo Comunitario) vienen desde el U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (Departamento de Vivienda y
Desarrollo Urbano de los Estados Unidos). Los subsidios pueden

A lawsuit has been started against you in the above-entitled Court by The Bank of New
York Mellon FKA The Bank of New York, as Trustee for the certificateholders of the CWABS, Inc.,
Asset-Backed Certificates, Series 2007-5, Plaintiff. Plaintiff's claim is stated in the written
Complaint, a copy of which is on file at the Umatilla County Courthouse. You must “appear” in this
case or the other side will win automatically. To “appear” you must file with the court a legal paper
called a “motion” or “answer.” The “motion” or “answer” must be given to the court clerk or
administrator within 30 days along with the required filing fee. It must be in proper form and have
proof of service on the plaintiffʼs attorney or, if the plaintiff does not have an attorney, proof of
service on the plaintiff.
The object of the complaint is to foreclose a deed of trust dated February 14, 2007 and
recorded as Instrument No. 2007-5150199 given by Colleen E Lazinka, and Lynn R Jones on
property commonly known as 219 NE Cherry Street, Pilot Rock, OR 97868 and legally described
as: The South half of Lots 6 and 7, Block 10, in ORANGE AND CONBOY'S ADDITION to the City
of Pilot Rock, in the County of Umatilla, State of Oregon.
The complaint seeks to foreclose and terminate all interest of Unknown Heirs of Lynn R.
Jones and all other interests in the property.
The “motion” or “answer” (or “reply”) must be given to the court clerk or administrator
within 30 days of the date of first publication specified herein along with the required filing fee. The
date of first publication of the summons is May 13, 2016.

The budget for the 2016-17school year is based on $7.36 billion K-12 state funding for the biennium. The 2016-17 budget reflects the
addition of 2.0 full time clissified staff and the purchase of new K-12 math curriculum. The 2016-17 capital improvement budget
includes the renovations to Lincln Primary and West Hills Intermedieate. The remaining capital improvements will be completed
during the spring and summer of 2017.
