THURSDAY
6:37 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report about a black
border collie running around Grecian Heights Park that has acted
aggressively toward other animals.
6:41 a.m. - A man in his backyard on Southwest Court Avenue,
Pendleton, threw ladders, yelled and punched a wood fence.
7:49 — A caller reported the theft of two vehicles from Golden
Valley Farms on Roper Lane, Stanield.
9:13 a.m. - A man told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Ofice
someone broke into his house on Cactus Drive, Hermiston, while
he was in jail and stole a kitchen table, desk, a bicycle and a Nook
tablet.
9:25 a.m. - A customer bought beer at the Shell station at 4412
Westgate Drive, Pendleton, and an employee told him not to drink
the beer on the property, but the man did it anyway. The employee
called police to trespass the man.
12:57 p.m. - The Pendleton code enforcement oficer took
action at an abandoned house on Southwest Goodwin Place with
overgrown weeds and trash in the yard.
3:51 p.m. - Pilot Rock police discovered someone scraped bark
off a tree at the ire district headquarters, 415 N.E. Elm St., Pilot
Rock.
4:24 - Umatilla police checked out Pheasant Ridge Street on a
report of people throwing tumbleweeds into the road.
5:05 p.m. - A caller told Pendleton police a man wanted on a
warrant was coaching Little League baseball at Grecian Heights
Park.
6:10 p.m. - Ah spring — when the lowers blossom, the grass
greens up, and one mother attacks another near the batting cages
at Bob White Field, 2200 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton.
6:22 p.m. - And in more sporting news, a 9-1-1 caller told
Pendleton police a juvenile pushed his team members at Grecian
Heights Park.
11:02 p.m. - A caller told Stanield police a couple at the
Stanield RV Park on South Main Street had been ighting for
hours.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
•Pendleton police arrested Derek Ryan Miller, 34, of Pendleton,
for fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
•Oregon State Police cited Michelle Diane Grende, 36, of
Lexington, for possession of morphine, a federal Schedule II drug.
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Irma Lorraine Talamantes, 27,
of Pendleton, for driving under the inluence of intoxicants (alcohol).
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Ofice arrested Mark Anthony
Cano, 45, and Nicole Marie Roy, 26, of Stanield, on one count
apiece of felony fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
