THURSDAY
2:42 a.m. - Umatilla police received a
noise complaint from a resident of Dark
Canyon Avenue who said his neighbor
woke him out of a sound sleep at 1:05 a.m.
by playing his music very loud. The caller
wished to remain anonymous because the
neighbor has a history of “getting even.”
6:25 a.m. - A resident of North Ott
Road, Hermiston, told the Umatilla County
6heriff¶s Of¿ce her son tried to hit her with a
rock and was calling her names. The caller
said he was chasing her down the street as
she tried to walk away.
7:43 a.m. - Speakers, cash, two
backpacks and a set of keys were reported
stolen from a resident of East Washington
Street, Athena. She requested contact
from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy at
Weston-McEwen High School, where she
is a student.
7:55 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater resident
on Triangle Station Road reported his
neighbor’s peacock was in his yard and
has been there for more than a week.
8:28 a.m. - A Hermiston resident
reported her 7-year-old son is with his
father and she discovered the child has not
been in school all week.
8:29 a.m. - An Athena caller reported a
property on East College Street has several
vehicles, including a concession-type van
someone may be living in. The caller also
said people are in and out of the property
at all times of the day.
11:06 a.m. - A Hermiston-area caller on
Diagonal Road told the Umatilla County
Sheriff’s Of¿ce someone stole her saddle,
and she just might know who.
11:57 a.m. - Someone took off with
packages from a porch on the 600 block of
South Elizabeth Street, Milton-Freewater.
1:01 p.m. - A resident of West Cody
Avenue in Hermiston reported her home
had been broken into and the dog let into
the house.
2:24 p.m. - Burglars broke into and
ransacked a cabin at Mill Creek and Tiger
Creek roads, Milton-Freewater,
5:15 p.m. - Someone reported a man
had been living in a car on Southeast
Eighth Place in Hermiston.
5:19 p.m. - Umatilla police were not
able to ¿nd a shirtless obese man with gray
hair and a beard who was drunk and left
the Crossroads Truck Stop, 2020 Highway
730.
5:43 p.m. - A woman in a red dress was
reported sitting in the parking lot at Motel
6 in Hermiston, smoking and using “bad
words” to customers.
7:50 p.m. — Six people got out of
a white Chevrolet Malibu at Baggett
and Sunshine Lanes, Hermiston, then
trespassed and climbed a resident’s fence.
The actions resulted in a warning from law
enforcement.
8:26 p.m. - Someone stole the DMV
stickers off a license plate of a vehicle on
West Orchard Avenue in Hermiston.

Milton-Freewater, for unauthorized entry
of a vehicle, second-degree trespass,

•Hermiston police arrested Josie Lee
Pritchard, 26, of Hermiston, for identity
theft, second-degree forgery, second-de-
gree theft and conspiracy.
•Morrow County Sheriff’s Of¿ce arrested
Jason James Abbott, 24, of Irrigon, for
felony attempt to elude police and two
counts of reckless endangering. The
sheriff’s of¿ce arrested Abbott in November
2014 on similar charges after he led
of¿cers on a car chase that hit 100 mph.
•Hermiston police arrested Pablo Carillo
Pablo, 31, no address provided, for felony
fourth-degree assault.
•Oregon State Police cited Walter
Chester Blue, 72, no address provided, for
driving under the inÀuence of intoxicants.
