This position manages and coordinates

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the daily direction, development, and performance
of Quality Assurance technicians and Sanitation workforce.
•Responsible for Quality Assurance program, including finished
goods specification compliance, HACCP, GMPʼs, SOPʼs, lot
traceability, and food safety regulatory compliance for an
agricultural processing facility.
•Responsible for facility audits by 3rd party, customers, and
regulatory agencies.
•Provide support to grower GAP compliance and program
development.
•Leadership of creating a plant culture motivated to achieve quality
goals.
•Effectively interact with operational contacts of customer base.
•Interact effectively with other plant departments and corporate
personnel.
•Lead continuous improvement activities, facilitate the launch of new
product lines, and participate in new product development
initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelorʼs degree in Food Science or related field or 10 years of
related experience
•Must have a minimum of 5 years as Quality Assurance Supervisor
for a food processing entity
•5 years of demonstrated managerial competencies such as
leadership, analysis, judgment, and oral and written
communication skills
•Demonstrated experiences of being a change agent within a
manufacturing environment.
•High degree of interpersonal flexibility to interact with a diverse
group of internal coworkers and external customers
•Industry knowledge in HACCP, GAPʼs, GMPʼs, and statistical
process control.
•Ability to analyze results of third party audit or inspection and
implement procedures to ensure compliance for next inspection
•Experience in onions and peppers a plus
•Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
