LA GRANDE / UNION COUNTY AIRPORT
RUNWAY 30 BLAST PAD, AIP PROJECT NO. 3-41-0031-019
UNION COUNTY is seeking a qualified contractor to construct
the RUNWAY 30 BLAST PAD project. Major elements of work for
the project include construction of a new paved Blast Pad on the
Runway 30 end of Runway 12-30. Additional work elements
include
associated
electrical
improvements,
drainage
modifications and pavement marking within the project work
limits.
Sealed Bids shall be addressed to and received at Union County
Commissionerʼs office, Attention: Steve McClure, County
Commissioner, 1106 ʻKʼ Avenue, La Grande, Oregon 97850 not
later than 10:00 a.m., local time, Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
Immediately thereafter, the Bids will be publicly opened and read
at the above stated location. Bids submitted after the above-
specified time shall not be received or opened.
Each Proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and
accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond executed on the
prescribed form, payable to UNION COUNTY, in an amount not
less than 10 percent of the amount bid.

observed and minimum wage rates, as established by the U.S.
Secretary of Labor, or the Oregon Bureau of Labor and

No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered
by UNION COUNTY unless the Bidder is registered with the
Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS Chapter
701, or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board as

other applicable sections of the Oregon Revised Statutes in order
to enter into a Contract with the Owner for public work in Oregon.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary
