kindergarten in the fall,

1:23 a.m. - A resident of Rio
Senda Drive, Umatilla, reported
a neighbor was trespassing on
her property, climbed the fence
and fell out of the tree onto his
property. The trespasser lives
behind the caller on El Monte
St. The caller requesting phone
contact from a Umatilla County
sheriff’s deputy.
8:32 a.m. - A Hermiston
resident reported someone
stole his cousin’s van, slashed
a tire on another vehicle and left
sometime during the night.
9:19 a.m. - A van and RV
parked at Northwest Geer Road,
Hermiston, were broken into.
9:42 a.m. - An employee of
Ashley Manor reported a former
employee spray painting a sign
on his truck outside the building.
10:06 a.m. - A burglar took
“quite a few items” from a home
on Northwest Bailey Avenue,
Pendleton.
11:49 a.m. - A woman hit
her boyfriend with her car and
then took off, a caller reported
from Blue Mountain Village
Apartments, Pendleton. The
caller said the man was dragged
a couple of feet and was limping,
but didn’t want an ambulance.
12:22 p.m. - A resident
of Southwest Third Street,
Pendleton, reported a man
drove up to his neighbor’s house
in a small red car and was
kicking his car and yelling, “This
is my stolen car!”
12:23 p.m. - Windows were
shattered on a pickup parked
on Southeast Eighth Place in
Hermiston.
12:28 p.m. - Ziegler
Transmission & Auto Repair,
Pendleton, reported the theft of
a generator from an RV parked
in their lot.
1:29 p.m. - The Boardman
Fire Department and Oregon
State Police responded to the
report of a vehicle that came off
a trailer and rolled in the median.
There were no reported injuries.
2:09 p.m. - A bicycle was

Milton-Freewater.
2:15 p.m.- A resident of the
900 block of Northeast Third
Avenue, Milton-Freewater,
reported someone tampered
with a window on her home.
3:38 p.m. - Umatilla police
investigated a report of someone
trying to give drugs to a student
walking home from school.
4:10 p.m. - Someone
jimmied the door of Three R’s
School, Pendleton, but nothing
seemed to be missing.
4:28 p.m. - A resident of
Village Apartments, Pendleton,
reported three men in an older
4-door car jumped another man
and pushed him into the bushes
at the apartment complex. One
of the men was carrying a tire

investigating a burglary at the
Darcy Coil Memorial Building at
Cutsforth Park near Heppner.
5:35 p.m. - Razor blades and
nails were reported scattered in
the intersection near the Rudy
Rada Skate Park, Westgate,
Pendleton.

a report of people shooting
shotguns across Walla Walla
River Road, Milton-Freewater,
near Rose Brook Lane. The
caller said this has happened
before, and requested phone
contact.
6:32 p.m. - Ten people were

6:41 p.m. - A Hermiston
resident reported two men were
trying to sell meat out of a pickup
and did not have a solicitor’s
license.
7:06 p.m. - A woman walked
into the Hermiston Police Station
to report she thinks she is being
stalked by a white Dodge pickup.
7:22 p.m. - A 10-year-old
violin student was punched in
the stomach at Pendleton High
School, the child’s mother told
Pendleton police. She said the
child does not need medical
care, but is bruised, and several
other children saw the incident.
8:43 p.m. - A man requested

to a residence on Southwest
Second Street to explain to his
9-year-old daughter the dangers
of stealing, since “she is not
seeming to understand the
consequences.”
8:57 p.m. - A caller reported
a woman in a car trying to cut off
a man walking a German shep-
herd across Highway 11 from
at Kelly’s Restaurant & Lounge,
Milton-Freewater. The caller said
the woman was screaming at
the man and trying to stop him
with her car, then disappeared
behind the building. Umatilla
County sheriff’s deputies were

9:06 p.m. - An employee of
Crossroads Truck Stop, Umatilla,
reported an altercation with a
man in the lounge. He said the
man and his friends are not from
the area but come to the lounge
frequently, and they are rude
to the female customers. He
requested the men be banned
from the lounge.
9:29 p.m. - Two bicycles were
reported stolen from the back
porch of a home on Southeast
20th Street, Pendleton.
