Potential Approval of a Recommendation to Amend the
Stanfield Zoning Map, Revising a Tax Lot at
425 S. Main Street from Residential to Downtown

The Stanfield Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
regarding a proposal to amend the Stanfield zoning map. The
change would specifically affect 425 S. Main Street (Assessorʼs
Map 4N2932CD, tax lot 10100). It would rezone the tax lot from
Residential to Downtown (Commercial). The following statement
is required by state law; the City of Stanfield and Umatilla County
have not made a determination regarding how these
amendments would affect the value of your property: “Adoption
of these amendments may affect the permissible uses of your
property, and other properties in the affected zone, and may
change the value of your property.”
The amendment being considered and detailing the potential
zoning map changes are available for inspection at Stanfield City
Hall located at 160 South Main Street, Stanfield, OR 97875.
Copies of the proposed amendments are available for purchase
at a cost of $0.10 per page.
Any interested person may submit written testimony prior to or at
the public hearing. Comments may be sent to Stanfield City Hall.
Comments received by March 30, 2016 will be included in
Planning Commission packets sent to the Planning
Commissioners in advance of the April 6th meeting.
The public hearing will be conducted in a manner that permits
testimony from those interested. The Planning Commission
action will be in the form of a recommendation to the City
Council, who will conduct a subsequent hearing on this issue
where additional testimony will be accepted.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Selah Parks and Recreation Service Area District
Selah Aquatic Center
The Selah Parks and Recreation Service Area Board (SPRSAB)
is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified individuals
or firms for the oversight and management of the demolition of
the existing pool at and for the design and construction
management services for a new Selah Aquatic Center. The
project will include demolition of the current pool and related
improvements; the acquisition, construction, installation and
equipping of a new outdoor swimming pool, a new 25-yard lap
pool, a new “zero-entry” wading pool, a new bathhouse facility
(including locker rooms, office space, storage areas and
equipment rooms), and a seasonal cover, together with pool
decks, parking areas and landscaping, all to be located at
Wixson Park, 214 S. 3rd Street, Selah WA 98942.
The total project budget is $5.7 million.
The planning, programming, design and construction are desired
to be completed by June 2018.
The SPRSAB, in consultation with City of Selah staff, will screen
the most highly qualified firms from those submitted and will rank
them according to their capacity to perform the proposed work.
By submitting a statement of qualifications in response to this
RFQ, respondents accept the evaluation process and
acknowledge that the determination of “best qualified” firm may
require subjective judgements by the SPRSAB.

the Statement of Qualifications no later than 5:00PM on April 22,
