We are looking for an individual to organize
and coordinate activities of a regional
consortium of local public health authorities
and the Eastern Oregon Coordinated Care
Organization, in partnership with the public
health department located in LaGrande.
Emphasis is to integrate public health
services for children and families by
strengthening community partnerships,
between public health, early learning and
health care professionals.
Focus will be implementing Oregon Health
Authority grant objectives of creating
systems that support implementation of
evidence based practices that increase
developmental screening in the first 36
months of life in community and health
system settings; and increasing home
visiting services for pregnant
women and their families.
Will convene public health administrators
from the 12 county EOCCO service
delivery region around common work areas
(i.e., developmental screening, home
visiting, etc.) to identify capacity of PH
programs throughout the EOCCO region.
Coordinator will work with physicians in the
area to educate on the availability, services
and effectiveness of partnering with
public health programs.
This position requires a highly motivated
individual, who is innovative and has skill
sets in networking, strategic planning, and
project coordination; knowledgeable of rural
communities and familiar with Oregon state
policies around public health and health
care transformation.
Frequent travel and must have reliable
transportation and valid Oregon driverʼs
license; some statewide travel. Ability to
convene meetings in a central location.
Must pass a criminal history
background investigation.
MA in Public Health is preferred. BS/BA
required or 5 years experience in public
health/health care population
based prevention.
Competitive benefits. Salary range

Notice is hereby given that the Umatilla
County Board of Commissioners has initi-
ated proceedings for the legalization of a
portion of County Road No. 983, Lee
Street Grade (also known as Northeast
8th Street) lying between Southeast Byers
Avenue and the unimproved roadway
dedicated to the Public and accepted by
the City of Pendleton and Umatilla County,
Reel 78, Pages 1355 through 1363, Uma-
tilla County Deed Records, and being lo-
cated in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 2,
Township 2 North, Range 32 E.W.M. The
purpose of legalization is to establish the
location of the existing road which does
not match old road records.
The Umatilla County Board of Commis-
sioners, under authority of ORS 368.201,
intends to hold a public hearing on the le-
galization of said road on November 4,
2015, at 9:15 a.m. in Room 130 of the
Umatilla County Courthouse, 216 S.E.
Fourth Street, Pendleton, Oregon. Any
persons wishing to be heard on this sub-
ject may attend this hearing in person or
submit to the Department of Public Works
in writing or by e-mail any appropriate in-
