on two felony warrants in Umatilla County for failure to appear.
A woman was driving the pickup, according to state police,
and she had a suspended license. She also agreed to let the
trooper search the pickup, and Thurman told the trooper he had

she passed away September

Patrick Guy Henry
on December 26,
1957, in Nampa,
Idaho. They worked
together on many
ranches in the
Oregon and Idaho
high desert before
settling in Boise,
Idaho, for a time
where she went to
nursing school.
Henry
Bonnie served
many years taking
care of our nation’s veterans
at the VA hospitals in Boise,
Idaho, Martinez, Calif., and
Portland, Ore.
Bonnie was a loving wife
and devoted mother and
grandmother. Her hobbies
were crocheting and sewing
for her family. She loved
traveling and bingo.
She is survived by her

away
peacefully
on September 18,
2015, due to chronic
health issues.
Ellen was born
September 22, 1922,
in Spray, Oregon,
one of eight siblings
born to Ezra and
Hope Snabel. Ellen
attended
grade
school in Spray, Nash
Oregon, walking
the three miles to
school every day. She grad-
uated from high school in
Prineville, Oregon, in 1940.
Ellen married Victor
“Bud” Nash on August 18,
1951, in Redmond, Oregon.
They operated Nash Ranch,
raising cattle, pigs, chickens,
sheep, alfalfa hay and wheat.
On March 23, 1993, they
moved to their home in Stan-
¿eld, Oregon. Ellen made the
Stan¿eld area her permanent
home where many friends
and family came to visit
often.
After Bud’s passing in
2007, Ellen remained in her
home for two more years.
In 2009 she moved to Sun
Terrace of Hermiston, and
recently moved to Guardian
Angel Homes in Hermiston.

2015, at home.

Lynn was born
on Sept. 22, 1920,
the son of Fred and
Ruby (Galbraith)
Wise in Imbler,
Ore. He grew up Wise
from age 6 in New
York where he
attended school. In 1936,
he moved to the Joseph
and Enterprise area. Lynn
logged and later enlisted
in the United States Army
during World War II. On
June 20, 1944, Lynn married
Martha Katherine Pyhälä in
Biwabik, Minn.
After Lynn’s honorable
discharge from the Army, he
began long-haul trucking for
Garrett Trucking, Consoli-
dated Freightways, and NP/
Burlington Northern. The
couple lived in various parts
of the country, including
Pendleton, Kent (Wash.),
and
Milton-Freewater
(twice, the second time to
retire). Lynn had a strong
faith in God and Jesus Christ
his Savior; he enjoyed
reading and discussing the
Bible, and was a member of
Bethel Baptist Church. His
favorite verses were from
John 3:16-17: “For God so
loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have
everlasting life. For God did
not send His Son into the
world to condemn the world,
but that the world through
