COURT & MAIN, PENDLETON • 541.278.1100
K for eight years.
Doug embraced life fully,
including his love of horses,
small town lifestyle, yard
work, and being
outdoors. His glory
days
included
deep sea ¿shing,
whitewater rafting,
golf and bowling.
He was a fan of
football and NASCAR, and
singing karaoke. He laugh-
ingly performed as “Chuck
Roast” with his best friend
Sue Sloss as “Terry Cloth”!
He had a deep love for his
poodle, Reno, of 13 years of
age, and most recently for his
companion puppy, Chica.
Doug had an enormous
and gracious heart that
extended to all he met, often
putting others before himself.
His wonderful sense of
humor could put anyone at
ease. He was a true gentleman
with extreme pride and love
for his daughters, and his
friend Sue. This loving bond
was incredibly mutual, with
many stories to share and
hearty laughter. His daughters
are forever grateful for the
way he raised them and all
the joy they shared together.
He absolutely loved living
in Pendleton, making new
friends, and telling jokes
at every opportunity. A
horse walks into a bar. The
bartender asks “Why the long
face?”
No services will be held
per Doug’s wishes. His
family will spread his ashes
at a memorable location in
Washington. Please sign
