FEED OPERATIONS MANAGER
Threemile Canyon Farms, LLC , a sustainable
farm, is in search of a feed operations manager
for their livestock operations, Columbia River
Dairy, LLC, Sixmile Land and Cattle, LLC, and
Cold Springs Dairy, LLC. The feed manager will
work closely with the nutritionist and livestock
managers to manage feed inventories and
quality, feeder accuracy, feeding logistics,
feeding software, and ration consistency and
presentation. The position requires a minimum
of a B.S. degree in animal science or related
field. Two years experience and/or a graduate
degree would be preferred. The position
requires basic computer skills, knowledge of
spreadsheets, and business communication
skills in person and by phone and email.
Conversational Spanish skills are not required,
but would be helpful for some tasks. Interested

Morrow County is looking for volunteers to
represent Irrigon or the north eastern por-
tion of the county on the Morrow County
Planning Commission. Planning Commis-
sioners serve four-year terms. This ap-
pointment is to fill a vacancy with a term
ending December 31, 2016. The Planning
Commission generally meets once a
month, alternating meeting locations be-
tween Heppner and Boardman. Duties of
the Planning Commission include approv-
ing land use actions, maintaining the
coun-
tyʼs subdivision and zoning ordinance, and
working with the County Court to manage
the countyʼs land use Comprehensive
Plan.

County who are interested in taking a
more active part in land use planning in
