UMATILLA CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of
Umatilla City Council will meet in the Uma-
tilla City Hall Council Chambers on Mon-
day, July 13, 2015 for a special meeting
beginning at 7:00 p.m. for a public hearing
to consider the following:
ORDINANCE NO. 802: A proposed ordi-
nance amending Ord. No. 792 and 795 by
extending the duration of the temporary
moratorium on adult businesses, as de-
fined in Ord. No. 792, within the city limits
of the City of Umatilla for an additional 110
days from the expiration of Ord. No. 795.
The specific criteria and procedures relied
upon by the City in rendering a decision
on this proposed ordinance are listed in
ORS 197.520(4) and (5).
Comments and concerns will be heard at
the hearing. Written testimony may be
submitted to the Planning Department,
700 Sixth Street, PO Box 130, Umatilla,
Oregon 97882 prior to 5:00 p.m. on the
date of the hearing, or at the hearing.
Written or oral comments or concerns
must address how the proposal does or
does not comply with the criteria on which
the City Council must base its decision.
A copy of the ordinance, and all docu-
ments and evidence submitted in support
of the proposal, and applicable criteria are
available for inspection at no cost, and a
copy will be provided upon request at rea-
sonable cost.
Failure of an issue to be raised in a hear-
ing, in person or by letter, or failure to pro-
vide statements or evidence sufficient to
afford the decision maker an opportunity
to respond to the issue precludes appeal
to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA)
