Deborah Franke, 63, of
Hermiston, Oregon, died at
her home Thursday evening
April 16, 2015, from natural
causes.
Born July 8, 1951, in Sa-
lem, Ore., Debbie was one of
four children born to Walter
“Bud” and Eva Lou Stotler.
The other children
are sister Sharon
Stotler of Salem,
Ore., Michael Sto-
tler of Scio, Ore.,
and Lori Soza of
Houston, Texas; all
survive her. Deb-
bie graduated from
South Salem High
School in 1969.
A few years later,
Debbie
married Franke
James “Jim” Wil-
lits of Salem, Ore.
Debbie had two children
with Jim, daughter Teresa
Strubel of Salem, Ore., and
son Edward “Eddie” Willits
of Salem, Ore.; both sur-
vive her. Debbie was also
the very proud grandmother
of six grandchildren that
survive her: Jackson, James
and Trevor Strubel, Jasmine
Allenwood, and Andrew and
Nakaia Willits, all of Salem,
Ore.
In August 1983, Debbie
married the love of her life,
Steven Franke, in Salem,
Ore. In 1990, the two moved
to Pendleton, Ore., where
they worked and lived until
June 2003 when they moved
to New Plymouth, Idaho,
where they lived until mov-
ing to Hermiston in October
of 2010.
Besides, loving to be with
her grandchildren and fam-
ily, she loved being in the
RXWGRRUV ¿VKLQJ KXQWLQJ
gardening, or just driving
around in the mountains as
long as she was with Steve.
Debbie dearly loved spend-
ing time with all her friends
as well.
In January of 2010, Deb-
bie was diagnosed with stage
4 breast cancer, beginning a
ORQJDQGEUDYH¿JKWWREHDWLW
Debbie loved her oncologist

friends and nurses
at Trios Hospital
in Oncology and

all of you, these last
few years may very
well have not been
possible.

Although we are deep-
ly saddened by our loss of
Debbie, we are comforted in
knowing she no longer has
to suffer from the cancer and
treatments. She constantly

positive attitude, never shop-
ping for sympathy. She be-
lieved she could beat cancer
until she couldn’t. The one
wish she had was to “just to
have things be normal.” She
always did her very best to
keep life normal in spite of
the cancer.
There will be two cele-
bration of life services for

1:00 p.m. Saturday, April
25th at Santiam Golf Course
in Stayton, Ore. The second
will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday,
May 16th at the Cleveland
residence (the Old Adams
School) in Adams, Ore. Pre-
ferred dress is casual. Deb-
bie liked things relaxed and
casual so please dress ac-
cordingly if possible.

Wilson, 87, of Washington,
Utah, passed away April 15,
2015, in Rexburg, Idaho.
Family prayer and shar-

Latter-day Saints on April
25th at 9:00 a.m.

Beverly
was
born in Washing-
ton, Utah, to Orson
Barney and Valena
Latham on Septem-
ber 6, 1927. Bever-
ly was married at
the age of 15 and Wilson
later obtained her
GED. She then at-
tended the College of the Se-
quoias in Visalia, California,
where she obtained her asso-
ciate’s degree. Beverly also
worked as a mail clerk and
in farming; she also worked
as a housing owner/manager
for students at Chico State
University in Chico, Cali-
fornia.
She was active in the
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and served
in many callings, including
Primary President, Young
Women’s Teacher, Primary
Teacher and was also very
active in her Relief Soci-
ety. Beverly loved the out-
doors; she enjoyed hiking
and spending as much time
with her family as she pos-
sibly could. Beverly was an
incredible mother, grand-
mother, friend, aunt, cousin,
sister, counselor and beauti-
ful person. She was dedicat-
ed to spending time with her
two sons and with their fam-
ilies. She was an incredible
matriarch and left behind an
amazing legacy.
She has two sons, Bar-
ry and Dennis Wilson, who
each married and raised
families. Barry married
Marlene Kelly and they had
seven
children:
Corina,
Carrie,
Miranda, Heather,
Adam, Erin and
Connor
Wilson.
Dennis
married
Nancy Compton
and they had nine
children: Lynaea,
Leah, Mara Lee,
Michael, Julia, Da-
vid, Andrea, Daniel
and Nola. Bever-
ly’s great-grand-
children
now

Beverly is preceded in
death by her father, Orson;
her mother, Valena; her hus-
band, Mitchell E. Wilson;
her two brothers, David
Theron Barney and Lyman
Kendall Barney; and her
grandson Michael Wilson.
Beverly is survived by
her two sisters, Beryl Krejci
of Marianne, Montana, and
JoAnn Haysom of Yakima,
Wash. She is also survived
by her two sons Barry of
Rexburg, Idaho, and Dennis
of Pendleton, Ore.
