The role of your local REALTOR® reaches much further than what most of the general public realizes. Did you know that the
REALTOR® association is the only organization actively advocating for your rights as a property owne r, buyer and/or seller?
Did you know we do this completely funded through our own personal fundraising efforts and voluntary contributions to
RPAC (REALTORS® Political Action Committee). And, did you know that 35% of all funds REALTORS® raise through these
efforts remain in our local communities to support REALTOR®-friendly candidates that work on behalf of issues affecting
you? As well as funding of specific issues that affect property and homeownership? On April 8, 2015, over 500 REALTORS®
from all across Oregon will spend the day at the Capitol, including meeting one-on-one with Oregon l egislators, advocating to
preserve housing opportunities in our community.
Eastern Oregon is represented by an educated, professional group of REALTORS® that all adhere to the strict REALTOR® Code of Ethics. The future looks bright for
Eastern Oregon and our REALTORS® are ready to assist you with all your real estate needs.

It is partly our duty as Oregon REALTORS® to see that state laws are upheld for ownership and proper ty rights,
along with ensuring the maintenance of all tax benefits related to homeownership. The upcoming REALT OR® Rally
at the Capitol is an exciting and educational day for REALTORS®around the state. It is organized by the Oregon
Association of REALTORS® and held at the Oregon State Capitol. As REALTORS®, we look forward to empo wering
ourselves with the necessary education, knowledge and tools to advocate on behalf of all Oregon prop erty owners.
We anticipate a great turnout, as this event has historically drawn strong participation.
