p.m. at East Elm Avenue and Diagonal Boulevard. The driver

injured.
•A woman at 12:50 p.m. told Pendleton police a man as-
saulted a woman at Domino’s Pizza, 1211 S.W. Emigrant Ave.
She said the man jumped out of the back of a dark green
Ford F250 pickup with Oregon plates, opened the driver’s
door and head butted the female driver and then punched

•A woman at about 1:40 p.m. urinated in the parking lot of
the Tesoro station, Umatilla. A caller who reported the incident
said she may be intoxicated.
•A woman at 3:08 p.m. reported someone poached a deer
on their property on Highway 332, Milton-Freewater.
•A Pendleton-area woman at 3:47 p.m. told the Umatilla
&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHVKHZDVUHDG\WRVLJQDFRPSODLQWEH-
cause her neighbor’s dogs on Meadow Drive constantly bark.
She said law enforcement has warned the neighbors but “the
situation is getting our of hand.”
•Pendleton police at 3:52 p.m. received a report a male
was following a juvenile female and may be intent on abusing
her.
•Umatilla police at 4:57 p.m. received a second-hand re-
port that a mother was beating her daughter. Police were not
able to contact the person who made the report.
•A mother at 5:21 p.m. told Pendleton police a juvenile
with an Air Soft gun shot her son at the skate park. She asked
police to check on the situation at the park and speak to the
young people involved in the incident.
•A caller at 11:18 p.m. reported a Pendleton juvenile was
the victim of an assault at the hands of another student at
about 3:15 p.m. at Roy Raley Park.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Julie Marie Moore, 40,
of Milton-Freewater, on a city warrant and for identify theft,

criminal mistreatment.
•Umatilla police arrested Jose Manuel Alaniz, 32, of Uma-

sexual penetration. All the charges are felonies. Dick pleaded
not guilty Thursday in Umatilla County Circuit Court, Pendle-
ton, to initial charges of sodomy and menacing. The sheriff’s

a statement from the agency, after a woman reported Dick
assaulted her at his residence south of Pendleton.
The case is likely to go to a grand jury to determine
charges. Dick has another hearing Wednesday.
