THURSDAY
•A caller at 8:50 a.m. reported people
are dumping garbage in the area of stairs
at the intersection of the Third Street inter-
change and Southeast Isaac Avenue.
•An anonymous caller at 9:27 a.m.
reported a bear and two deer carcass-
es were near the “No Dumping” sign on
Highway 204, Weston, about a half mile up
from Kirk Road.
•A caller at 9:30 a.m. told Umatilla po-
lice that around 9 p.m. the night before on
Fir Court he saw a male and female inside
a car snort a white substance through a
straw.
•A man at 10:38 a.m. reported he saw
a female thrown out of a vehicle with three
males inside at the intersection of high-
ways 395 and 730, Umatilla.
•A caller at 11:08 a.m. from Heppner
High School, Heppner, reported a male
student continues to harass a female
student.
•A male at 1:49 p.m. reported drivers
are speeding by the Irrigon Learning Cen-
ter, 240 W. Columbia Lane, Irrigon, and
WKH\DUH³ÀLSSLQJKLPRII´ZKHQKHGULYHV
the speed limit. He asked the Morrow
&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHLILWFRXOGVHQGH[WUD
patrols through the area.
•A staff member of Eastern Oregon
Correctional Institution, 2500 Westgate
Drive, Pendleton, at about 3 p.m. contact-
HGDPDOHWUDQVLHQWZKRKDGD¿UHXQGHU
the bridge and was trying to melt copper
wire. The transient wore a white sweatshirt
and jeans and left carrying a backpack.
•An Irrigon resident at 3:20 p.m. report-
ed he kicked out a male from his residence
on South First Street for not paying rent,
and since then the male drives by his
house, makes hand gestures and may be
the person who egged his car this morning.
•A caller at 3:33 p.m. complained about
people dumping garbage at the corner of
Purdy Lane and North Ott Road, Herm-
iston. A Jeep bumper with a license plate
was on the south side of the road, the
caller said, and tires on north side.

3:35 p.m. received a call that children are
harassing a 14-year-old boy and threaten-
ing to beat him if they catch him alone.
•A Pendleton caller at 6:19 p.m. report-
