Keith Kerr is also an adjunct instructor for Blue Mountain Community College at
the Hermiston location. With about twenty-two years of experience in the fields
of chemistry and forensic science, Keith brings a real life perspective to his
teaching and strives to provide engaging courses.
Keith grew up in a small Arkansas farming community in the Ozark foothills. After

rewarding.
Keith and his wife live in the Hermiston area with two of their four children, three
cats, three dairy goats, and several chickens and a lone cow named T-Bone. He
enjoys being involved with the Hermiston community by working with his
chemistry and forensic science students and helping them to better themselves
as well as being actively involved with the ministries of his church family,
Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Hermiston. Keith also enjoys being with
his family, playing and composing music, and working around his home.
Keith know, has experienced, and believes in the important role community
college play in the higher education system. His two oldest children graduated
from community colleges and afterwards progressed forward with further higher
education and then strong militar y careers. Currently, he has a daughter
pursuing an Associate Degree at Blue Mountain Community College.
