The "Little Minister" film, in
which' George Hackathorn, ex-Pen-dletonian,
has a leading role, is
praised by Life's motion picture crit
ic, Robert E. Sherwood. The review
says: "George Hackathorn Is splen
did as the little minister himself. In
this picture and In The Light in the
Clearing, Mr. Hackathorn gives evi
dence of a talent that should carry
him far up In the ranks of movie ac
tors when he has had time to acquire
a little more experience." Hacka
thorn Is well remembered here and
took part in many amateur theatricals.
At one time he was an UBher at the
old Pastime theatre.
