Thompson and her house-guest. Miss
Susan Irwin, of Astoria, will visit the
clouds again tomorrow with Pilot Par-
malee.
Senator George W. Joseph of Port
land is a Round-Up visitor, having
driven up yesterday. The senator was
last here in February when he parti
cipated in the conference over the
Umatilla rapids project. He is car
nestly interested in the generating of
hydro electric power on the Columbia
Some tourists who found the auto
camp rather crowded are camped back
of the Lincoln school. They declare
the spot it ideal, one member of a mo
tor Party from California confiding
that the Umatilla river makes an ex
cellent bathing place.

Show, an added attraction during the
Tendleton Round-Up. is housed in a
canvas and baled hay structure on
Main street. The hay la valued at
11,000 and after the show will bo sold
in Penlnnil Krothers. It was bought
hv tho Association from the Oregon
and Washington Hay Growers Asso
ciations.
E. P. Marshall, judge at the Rotind
Up, is a familiar figure in the arena,
for he has served for three years in
this capacity. H. P. Whitman is new
at the game as is Henry L. Corbett, of
Portland, although both are consider
ed well qualified in this line.
