A corps of "vigilantes" and an uuxll lary force of "one cent a year" plain clothes traffic tops are the latest moves of the Honolulu Automobile Club in its effort to put a stop to the reckless driving which has been the cause of un appalling number of auto mobile accidents In tho Island capital during the past few months. The vigilantes, whose Identity Is known only to the officials of the Au tomobile club, will have no authority to make arrests for violation of the traffic laws, but will report and viola tions of these laws which may come to their notice.
