The same proportionate reductions have been made in all other types. One year ago the price of the Ford Sedan was JS70; today it lists at JtiOO with the same equipment. "We are taking advantage of every economy in the manufacture of our products in order that we may give them to the public at the lowest pos sible price, and by doing that, wo feel that we are doing the one hg thing that will help this country into, more prosperous times. Invention of a machine that will "harness gravita tion" is the claim of W. F. Garbe, Den ver mechanic and shopkeeper. A working model of the new lnven tion, which Is on display in Garbe'j North Denve shop, is attracting wide attention. - t The machine comprises a system of w heels, around which link chains ope rate there being a weight affixed to the centre rigid portion of the ma chine, which contains the axis wheel, also rigid. The weight, instead of dropping like that of a clock, revolves and thereby, Garbe declares, counter balances the slack and produces gra vitation which forms the force of the machine and which it harnesses, ready for man to use. Garbe asserts lhat, with his ma chine perfected and bunt to suit all purposes, it will run any kind of ma chinery and will eliminate the neces sity of fuel in producing power. ' WiU Run Indefinitely" "Some "might coll my machine per petual motion, but there is no such thing as perpetual motion," Garbe de clares. ".My machine, however, will run indefinitely. "I realize that ft has been universal ly, taught that harnessing gravitation is an impossibility, but I'm confident that I have solved the problem. "I do not claim to know what the force of gravitation Is; nor does the electrical expert know the composition or force of electricity, nor tho phy sician the force behind radium, but for more than thirty years I have been In terested In the study of harnessing gravitation, having studied it from every angle, and my machine Is based upon mathematics. 'Force We Cannot Understand." "We know that it is gravitation that holds the unnumbered worlds together ' a force that we cannot understand. "In Ezekiel there Is mention of a 'wheel within a whel,' and of "the spirit of the machine,' and it is tho combination of these that I have worked out. I have assembled my ma chine on the planetary system, with mathematical precision, and "the spirit of the machine' is that unknown force, "I am a practical machinist, and 1 am convinced that I have solved thi ';l Over iqflO Rice I- Prest-G-Lke Reduces &gain !
