On the other hand, the promoters hold
that it, is veil to build a strong nation,
and point to the overwhelming post;
war sport movement as evidence that
Germany wants body-building.
Tho "Frelhelt," organ of tho Inde
pendent 8of inllsts, writes: "We do not
desire to appear to be enemies of
sport; we have loo often asserted that
for workers It Is advisable to hnvc a
harmonious upbuilding ot the body.
Labor, however, would do well to re
momber that It Is high time' tn'mnke
up for the war losses In spiritual
strength." -
