Despite the fact that bin feet were shackled while on his way to serve five years in the Dorclynter, N. I!., prison, he leaped from an express train speeding at sixty miles an hour and made his escape. Hanloy was In custody of a sheriff. When the offi cer's attention was distracted for a moment Hanley made a spectacular jump through a car window at Har vey, N. M. Posses have so far found no trace of him.
