More Fx"rt Strengthens Wheat
CHICAOO. Juno 30. (A. P.)
Wheat prlies rebounded today with
vigor, from Tuesday's big fall. Much
export business bad developed and
crop reports were the worst so far this
fcenson. The market closed strong,
i to 6c net higher, with July 11.23
to 1 .S(t .and September l.22fr to
$1.23. Corn gained 3 1-8 to 5 5-Sc and
onts 1-2 to 1 3-8c. Provisions finished
unchanged to 22c higher.
Although some depression was
shown at the outset In wheat, prices
Quickly began to climb and through
out the remainder of the session the
course proved to be practically nil to
ward higher levels. It was estimated
that export sales overnight had totaled
1,250,000 bushels, nnd that furthVr
European demand was in prospect, for
drought reports wero at hand from
Russia, Roumanla, Prance, Argentina
nnd Oreut Britain. The advices from
Russia mere so distressing as appar
ently to placo that country altogether
out of possibility as a source of irnp
ply this yepr. In addition, reports
from the domestic spring crop belt
left but little doubt that unless rains
came almost immediately, the yield
would be reduced nt an alaimlng rate.
Complaints nf. excessive dry weather
In many sections gave rise to some
anxiety In regard to corn, which
caused an unusual bulge In values and
oats wero hoisted us a result.
Provisions averaged
hogs and grain.
