Starr's collection Is thought to be tho only one of Us kind In the world. 1 'The National Museum hus received one collection of , 200 perfect coins lathered together by Sergeant Starr, and now he has'ieompleted a small Mivate collection, containing twenty three perfect coins, ranging from n silver dollar, minted In 1S07, to dimes and pennies of 1 920. 1 Ray Baker, director of the mint, has asked Starr to sell this collection to the Treasury Department, either for exhibition or for the cuius to bo can celled ns worthless. Starr has refused to comply with this request, and Mr. Baker will nsk the passage of a law to compel the return to tho Govern ment of Imperfect coins.
