E. C. McCarthy, professor of botany at the Colorado Agricultural College In Port Collins, is expected here soon to gut her soverul hundred pounds of the shrub to ship to Eastern riihbei vtmvnnieat for further experimental purposes. That the shrub has a large percen tage of crude rubber has already been established, according to .Professor S'c(."arty, who says. that, after extrl rutlng considerable of this material from the shrub, he sent it to a blc rubber company for tests. Chemical analysis disclosed, nccordlng to Pro fessor Met 'arty, that the rubber in th" shrub was of a high grade n ml that It vulcanised readily.
