ner ever attempted, this being his
third, the first in Portland, the sec

Castle Rock. He Is a powerful man
and is claimed to tie able to bend an
iron bar, or bend a nail with his teeth.
The police look for a battle. The fear
that his escape was through his wife
was dispelled when his wife was dis
covered still In California.
