"The Dollar a Tear Man." Mr. Ar
buckle's latest comedy which will be
shown at the Arcade Theatre Sunday
and Monday.
The story is a novel one. The mem
bers of the Santa Vista Yacht Club,
fearful lest Franklin Pinney, their only
plebian member, will disgrace them
when the Prince is their guest, take
advantage of his weakness for detect
ing plots and fake a kidnapping story
so that he will follow the scent and
be' absent when the royal guest ar
rives. Tipton Blair, a club member
with socialist views, ho is the insti
gator of7 a real plot to kidnap the
Prince and turn him over to a band of
anarchists in a haunted house, pre
tends to aid Pinney. ,
However, the Prince, has managed
to escape the formality of the club
visit and Is enloying a walk with
Pfggy Bruce. In passing the haunted
house he heat's strange noises and be
lieving the ghosts are prety lively,
goes to investigate. The anarchists at
tack him and Pinney manages to save
him. Later, at-the club the Prince and
Pinney are table companions at the
banquet.
