Pendleton Tuesday evening for treat
ment for blood poisoning in her arm
which was the result of a mosipiitu
bite, she is now getting along nicely.

spent the winter in Pilot Rock whore
his daughter, Geneva, nttended high
school, has moved back to Pkiah
since school closed and will occupy
tho Kirk residence near the church.
Mrs. C. It. Marr of lunge died -i

Monument. Her death was due to a
paralytic stroke, which she suffered
some time ago.
J. T. Huston was taken to Pilot
P-ock last Monday for treatment, suf
fering from forma lyehyde poison
which he used for dipping grain.
The school house at flange burned
to the ground last week. All the books
belonging to the teachers and pupils
are burned. The origin of the fire Is
unknown.
Mrs. George Nass left for Pendleton
