moving picture film taken at the
1920 'Kound-Up took place yesterday
at the Pastime theater. The pictures
were viewed by member of the
Round-Up association, who pronounce
them excellent. The association has
the right to use the film for adver

mercial associations, high schools, etc

Salvation Army for the western terri
tory, and Adjutant J. Bell, of Seattle,

hall. The major's topic will be 'The
Missing Link." The local post, says
Captain Conrad, is . planning Easter
services and the speaker will be Com
mandant Oldenberg.

Glee Club featured the Rdtary club
luncheon at noon today. Members of
the club were special guests of the Ro
tariuns and gave a program under the
direction of Howard Pratt, director of
music at Whitman. At the conclusion
of several highly appreciated college
songs a brief response was made by
Harper Joy, business manager of the
CIUD.

Will Meet Architect.
Superintendent W. D. McXary of the
Eastern Oregon State Hospital, has
been, called to Salem for a meeting
Friday between members of the board
of control and Morris Whitehead,
Portland architect, who will handle
the details of the architectural work
on the new wing for the hospital. The
wing will be of the same general type
of construction as the present build
ings and W. C. Knighton, former state
architect who planned the (.Institution,
will serve as consulting architect. At
the meeting Friday steps will be ta
ken towards advertising for bids, for
the work on the new wing.

machinery at O. A. C, will be her to

operation with the Umatilla Farm Ru
reau In regard to draw bar tests. Iist
year Mr. Qllmore conducted 65 tests
on 15 tractors to ascertain the amount
of pull for various depths on various
machines In different soils and his
work this year will be tollow-up wos k.

BRANCH CHURCH ESTABLISHED.
TOKIO, March 23. (A. P.) Ten-do-kyo.
a Korean religious sect which
la said to closely resemble Christianity
in doctrine and phraseology, is estab
lishing a branch church in Tokio. The
action Is taken at the instigation of
13 Korean students at the Imperial
University.
Tendo-kyo la the religion of Sun
Kalkl, a leader of Korean malcontents
who Is said to. be determined not to
abandon the cause of Independence for
his country. The metropolitan police
burden here will not interfere with the
Tokyo followers provided they do not
disturb peace and order, according to
the Tomlurl.
