of February, 1921, under directions
and by requirement of the Common
Council file tn the office of the Re
corder of the City of Pendleton, plans

and estimates and found the same sat

cost of such work, and,

trict Is hereby created to be known as
"Assessment District No. 78". embrac
ing the property benefited and to be
assessed for the payment of such im
provements, iwhich Assessment Dis
trict shall Include all lots, ports of lota
and parcels of land lying and being
within the district bounded and
("described as follows, to-wit:

Beginning at the southwest corner of
Lot 8, Block 1, Jacobs Addition to Pen
dleton; thence 350 feet north and par
ade! with the west line of Grange
Street; thence 260 feet east along the
south line of Lewis Street; thence

east line of Grange street; then west
on the north line of Court Street to the

resolution together with a notice that
the surveyor's estimate of the propor
tion of the cost of said work to be
charged against each lot, part of lot
and parcel of land is on file In the of
fice of the City Recorder, be publish
ed for a period of ten days in the East
Oregonian which newspaper Is hereby
designated by the Common Council
for the publication thereof. ; '
