At the meeting of the city council
Monday night, prellmnnry steps were
tnken towards the paving of Main
Street. An ordinance wns passed to
pave Kn In street from the west side
of Water street; through which the
County highway Minn to the memorial
hall. A considerable opposition devel
oped and n ni.mlier of interested lax
payers were present at the council
meeting to voice their sanction, or
protest, ns they happened to feel
about the matter.
