"The Bait," which will be the chief attraction at the Arcade Sun day and Monday. One of the bis scenes in this picture hows a lion escaping from his cage on a vaudeville sta."e and leading into a box in which the heroine is seated. Mr. Tourneur desired to secure four or five men with iron nerve to occupy the box with Hope Hampton, who plays' the heroine, when this scene was made. The detective is none other than John Bruce, now known as Graham. Gra ham sets a dictaphone from Turner's apartment to his own and learns that Laura is to come there. But Edna Crane visits Turner unexpectedly, and thinking it is Laura in Turner's apart ment, Craham brings I'aul to listen to the conversation supposedly between Laura and his employer. The next development forms the climax to a well acted picture, replete with thrills. The confession ot Edna Crane and the defeat of Turner's pur pose makes a brilliant ending to an abforbing picture.
