operating a pack train in northeastern
Nevada.

idays visiting relatives In Weston.
The Pastime pool hall, which was
closed last Monday, was reopened on
Thursday evening with Walter Webb
as proprietor.
U W. Hebert has returned from
Athena and opened his hotel in north
Water street. Mr. Hebert left Weston
about a month ago to start a restau
rant in the town over the hill.
Walter Price of Waitsburg, AVash.,
was visiting various couslnes in Wes
ton during the first of the week. Mr.
Price Is a director in a cooperative
grain marketing organization in east
ern Washington.
Miss Wilma Harbour is spending
the holidays with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. P. T. Harbour. Miss Harbour is
a Junior in the Cheney, Wash., normal
school.
Joe Hodgson is at home, much Im
proved in health but thinner in girth,
after recuperating for a week in a
Walla Walla hospital.
