Ilayea, city engineer, suld to. day. He hna cirtnpleted estimates of the final cost on several streets which have been paved on the north side of the river and found that the cost I running below estimate. In addition to paving the streets, gas, sewer and water connection from mains to the curb lines of all lot were ordered placed before grading wa done. This nervlce added somewhat to the expense of Improvement but the final cost shows that original es timate for the grading and paving alon exceeded the actual-coat of grad ing,, paving and all services connection.
