Hogs were depressed, cattle and sheep about steady with no further price changes. In he hog alleys the total run was but 200 head and of this amount killers secured 119 headejirect, which did not enter the market. However, there were several loads of holdover stock from Monday and buyers appeared little interested in anything in the hog alleys. At the best the market looked weak at the drop of 50c made in the price at a late hour Monday. At the lower price Portland Is lower than Chicago for the first time in an extended per iod.
