Thomas Jacques, of Pilot Rock, has
struck pay dirt In his mining property

Arthur S. Rudd, who graduated

left this noon for Portland, en route
to ICugene, where he will register as
a freshman in Journalism next week.
He has been home for the past 10 days
visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

to his politics. On returning from a
trip through the northwest this morn
ing, George was beard to remark "This
