Modesto Man Finds Upkeep!
Cost of Little Car Low and
Tires Give 9000 Miles or
Better Before Replacing.
Supervisor C. H. Little of Modesto
California, claims a record for econ
omy of autnmohtle operation.
While driving a Chevrolet "Four-"
Ninety more than 10,000 miles, IJttle
says he had a total repair bill of less
than $1. Supervisor Little has cov
ered rough dirt roads and steep moun
tain highways during the 10,000
miles, which he has driven his Chev
rolet, and out of the four tires origi
nally on the car there are thre still In
use, which he snys are good for many
more miles- of travel. The other cas
ing was driven more than 9000 miles
before it was replaced.
It Is only natural that the supervi
sor tells all his friends that the Chev
rolet is the most economical car he
has ever operated and It Is always
ready to shoot when he steps on the
starter.
ALL SEASON MODELS OF
COLE FACTORY PRESENT
CRITERION FOR FASHION
Cole all-season models, like the open
cars represent, a new phase in auto
mobile designing that is both original
and distinctive. Kach Is an accepted
criterion of future automobile fash
ions in Vnclosed equipages.
The Cole Motor Car company has
come to set a pace in body designing
during the past few years. They were
the first to apply aerotype engineering
to the automobile and It is now em
ployed in the construction of both the
open and enclosed models.
The enclosed models on display at
tho Automobile Show Include the
Aero-Eight Toursedan, Sportosine.
Pportcoupe, Touroslne, Towncar and
Sportsedan. All these are distinctive,
not only in the peculiarity of their de
sign, hut also in the fact that they are
virtually custom-made stock cars.

An Improved Truck
2 Tons
Here is a truck that we believe represents the maximum power, efficiency
and economy that is available anywhere in the 2 to 2Vz ton class.
Even that is understating the facts because the capacity rating is extremely
conservative. It is built so sturdily and so well balanced throughout that it will
stand up under exceptionally strenuous service.
This improved truck is the latest product of the Republic factories. It is their
final achievement perfected from experience in building the more than 50,000
Republic Trucks now in use. At the Truck shows in all the principal cities it
has attracted wide attention from everyone interested in motor trucks.
