The Worlds Largest Tire Factory
Building 30x3, 30x31 and 31x4-inch Tires
Owners of small cars can enjey the same
high relative value in Goodyear Tires that
gives utmost satisfaction to owners of big,
costly motor carriages.
They can take advantage of that tremendous
amount of equipmen t , ski 11 and care employed
by Goodyear to build tires of extraordinary
worth in the 30x3-, 30x32-, and 31x4
inch sizes.
They can secure these tires without waiting,
despite the enormous demand, because,
in addition to its larger sizes, Goodyear builds
an average of 20,000 a day in the world's
largest tire factory devoted to the three
sizes mentioned.
If you own a Ford, Chevrolet, Dort, Maxwell,
or any other car using one of these sizes, go

DESPAIN & LEE CASH GROCERY
Feb. 21, 1920.
Dear Patron:
Pursuing the policy which has directed our efforts
since our opening day, of giving our customers the
very best of service, the greatest choice and variety
of groceries at the lowest prices consistent with good
business and a fair margin of profit, we are inaugu
rating a new order in this establishment.
It has been demonstrated beyond question that the
store or grocery wherein the credit system prevails,
must charge a sufficient additional per cent of profit
on the goods sold to take care of paying for the goods
sold to those people who do not, or cannot, pay their
bills. It is further patent to the economic housewife
and good business man that the credit system en
tails keeping of a great number of books of account,
the collecting of accounts, and so on, which of course
takes the time of one or more employees. All this
must be paid for by you who pay your bills.
The total cost of doing a credit business approxi
mates 15 per cent over and above the "for cash" re
tail price. And so we are doing away with our credit
business; we are installing a strictly cash business
system and we are deducting from the price of every
single article in our stock, the per cent that it has
previously cost us and cost you, to do a credit busi
ness. We are sure we will please you with our new plan.
It has a very great many additional beneficial fea
tures, but the chiefest benefit is the direct and cer
tain saving of a big per cent on your groceries.
Trusting you will permit us to serve you further,
and that we will please you with our new system, we
are Yours very truly,
