the corn market in the Monday trad
ing and the sharpest slump in
months was experienced. Yellow
corn which has been quoted at S6'3 a
ton dropped 34 to S"9 and No. 3 yel
low, which was at 9 at the week's
end, dropped to $63 a ton. Specula
tion Is responsible. Oats showed
Hlbtftt pains, the prices today being
$55 for two grades and $35.50 for the
first grade. Barley quotations were
unchanged at $66.50, $68 and $68.50,
with mill feed also steady at $40.00.

of the week's trading and the early
strength was pronounced.
