of sheop and lambs to the North
Portland markot was liberal over
night with a total supply for the
days trade of 1886 head compared
with 1041 last week and 403 head a
year ago.
Spring Iambs continued to hold
rather steady at $16.00 for top qual
ity stuff and there was quite a fair
movement at this prices while mut
ton was picked up -within the former
price range
One deck of sheep came from Cali
fornia but did not enter the market;
having been purchased in the south
by a northern killer.

reflected a generally etcady tone in
the North Portland alleys for the day.
Receipts -were comiiaratively small,

208 last Wednesday and 672 head a
year ago.
