What
Causes Subluxations of
of the Vertebrae?
We are frequently asked this question,
' The spine being the foundation of the entire skele
ton, every jar or strain to which the body may be
subjected, any violent contraction of the muscles at
tached to the vertebrae, is immediately concentrated
upon the spine, itself and may, by wrenching some of
the ligaments binding the vertebrae together, dis
place one or more of these bones from their normal
position.
However, falls and blows are not the only causes.
The sudden effort to prevent a fall or dscape some
threatened danger, the turning and twisting of the
body during sleep while the muscles are relaxed, are
often causes of subluxations which impinge the
trunk nerves and gradually and often immediately
disease appears.
Chiropractic Adjustments
taken after any fall or blow will insure you against
any of the complications which might otherwise
follow.

to heat up your kitchen this summer
just because you want to do some iron
ing. An electric iron will save you many
steps. You can iron in a cool room, in
"cool comfort." The cost of operating
an electric iron is no greater than iron

and coal at its present price.
You should utilize the electricity and
gas as much as possible as the price has
not advanced one cent although many
of the items we use have advanced
from 20 to 100 per cent.

CAMELS are as delightful to your
taste as they are new. And, so
satisfying: that they meet every cigarette
desire you ever have had.
Camels are unusual; in fact they're un
like any cigarette you ever smoked.
That's because they're an expert blend
of choice Turkish and choice Domestic
tobacco, producing a quality that meets
your taste as no other cigarette ever did.
Camels' expert blend gives that mellow-mild-body
and frees the cigarettes from
any unpleasant cigaretty aftertaste or
any unpleasant cigaretty odor. You
can smoke Camels as liberally as you
like without tiring your taste.
You have only to get personally
acquainted with the expert Camel blend
to know that you prefer it to either kind
of tobacco smoked straight !
