Works Board Urged
WASHINGTON, Jan, 21. Senator
Kcnyon today introduced a bill creat
ing an emergency public works board
to provide immediate work for the un
employed. The measure appropriated
$100,000,000 for the Immediate begin
ning of public works. Jt would be
used to enable any city, state or fed
eral agency lacking funds to proceed
with public work now or any time in
the future when extraordinary unem
ployment exists.
