Reel Mineral Wednesday.
The funeral of the late Emmet
Rees, who died last week in Walla
Walla, will be held Wednesday after
noon at 2 o'clock at the Christian
church in Helix. The body will leave
the Folsom chapel at 12:30 p. m.
Internment following the services will
be made at the Helix cemetery. The
pall bearers will be Eugene McCulley,
Vernon Kurrle. B. E. Gelss. Will
Knuckles. Henry Peterson and Carl
Kupers.

introduced a bill providing that any
one holding office under the federal
government may retain that office
while serving In military service by
waiving all pay. The bill Is designed

Covering Seven Years.

for Insurance on lives and granting
annuities, has been arrested it was
announced here today. He Is charged
with misappropriating funds while 'n
the employ of the company.
The sum named In the warnint Is

department at Harrlstiurg sold the

A statement irsued by the company
says: "
"A defalcation through forgery hv
a former employe has been discover
ed. The amount Is large, but a sub
stantial part of It will be recovered
through employes' liability Insurance
and from other sources."
According to the state banking of
ficials, Williamson, who Is 3 years
old. abstracted securities for seven
years, bonds being taken from es
tates of women, one of whom missed

replaced In kind. It was stated by ths
state banking officials.
Williamson Is a member of the
