The story of "Apartment it" tends
to prove that no man can tell before
hand what he or any other man will
do under given circumstances. The
framed-up adventures of a dramatic
critic who believed that no rational
human being would possibly act in
real life aa did tna bero of a new
play, form the greatest portion of the
action of "Apartment 2." Earle Wil
liams, ' as the dramatic critic. Is
framed up by the author of the play
ln much the same manner aa was the
hero of the play. The critic is caught
up in a whirlpool of happenings that
cause him to act just aa he said no
rational man would, and In addition
to disproving hla own assertions, the
critic gets a bump on the head that
wasn't in the plot, and also becomes
engaged to one of the plotters.
