If there i. any .tore in Pendleton that adheres c. above statement, than the Golden Rule we have not heard of them. be certain you are receiving the same price here as your ne.ghbors, or we wua rather put $100.00 worth of merchandise back on the shelves, and whin we have done several times, than to reduce an article or the total of a bill one penny, , or al low a favored few certain discounts. It would be folly for us to quote one price m then, on request, drop to our competitors lower price, as some of our aviates gua rantee to do. We can stick to our policy simply because we are always below any competitors price today. Now At. Axmlnstor Rugs SxlS. Boautlful Comb. In Small Ruga. . This wag one of the best games ever played on the Walla Walla floor and was marked by superior playing by several members of the local team. Vera Temple, speedy little forward. was the largest point getter, scoring twentv herself. Alta Mrmtzer started at the other forward but soon gave way to Grace Rugg on account or a sprained knee. M'iW Rugg played n very good game. , Thelma Thompson and Helen Nel son were largely responsible for keep ing Walla Walla's score down, Dotn olavinir stellar eames at guard. In both the games the locals feel that they got the worst of it in re gard to the referees. The one Satur dav was particularly "rank," they say, on some of his decisions and was forever calling unseen fouls on Pen Hlstnn while at Waltshure the offi cial seemed more inclined to argue with the spectators than to watch the playing of the game.
