RECORD JAVELIN
THROW OVERRULED
The record of 184 feet which Ches
ter Fee of Pendleton made In the jave
lin throw at the Intercollegiate con
ference meet at Pullman last year will
not be allowed to stand as a mark for
other spear-hurlers to shoot at, ac
cording to a decision reached by the
A. A. U. authorities. It was found
that a 10 or 12 mile wind was blowing
or the day of the meet and that this
assisted Fee's Javelin In Its record
flight. Other records made that day,
notable among which was the 440
yard reoord made by Kadderly of' O.
A. C. were disallowed on the same
grounds. Fee, however, is given some
consolation by the president of the A.
A. U. who characterizes him as one
of the best pole-vaulters America has
produced.
HOW GOOD THAT
MUSTEROLE FEELS!
It Gets to That Sore Spot
Like Magic
A-a-h! That's delicious relief for
those sore muscles, those Stiff joints,
that lame back.
Musterole is a clean, white ointment,
made with the oil of mustard and
other home simples.
It does the work of the old
fashioned mustard plaster, minus the
plaster and minus the blister!
You simply rub Musterole on the
spot where the pain is rub it on
briskly and usually the pain is gone.
No muss, no bother. Just comfort
ing, soothing relief first a gentle
glow, then a delightful sense of cool
ness. And best of all, no blisters like
the old-fashioned mustard plaster used
to make.
Use Musterole for sore throat, bron
chitis, tonsilitis, croup, stiff neck,
asthma, neuralgia, headache, conges
tion, pleurisy, rheumatism, lumbago,1
pains and aches of the back or joints,'
sprains, sore muscles, bruises, chil
blains, frosted feet and colds of the
chest (it often prevents tyieumonia).
